Spring Sauna Weekends
I spent my last two weekends in Finland with friends at traditional lakeside cottages: no running water, no internet, just nature and saunas.
Heading Home to Helsinki
Here, you can read my entries from the air over Europe. Each journal entry was written on my way back to Helsinki from Copenhagen and Berlin respectively.
Winter Entries
It’s been a while since my last update, but I have been writing in my notebook. In my reintroduction to the blog, I share some journal entries from the winter.
A New Year
Just like that, it is 2022. We spent time in Budapest, we are moving, and the fresh year provides a moment for reflection and introspection.
Christmas in Europe
It’s Christmas time, and it’s the first time either of us has ever been away during this time of year.
Life in the Dark
We don’t have much daylight or warmth these days, but we’re trying to make the most of our waking hours.
Oodi, Our Sanctuary
Jessica and I have found our place in Helsinki, the state-of-the-art library in the center of the city.
Cycling and Disc Golf
A 25-minute bike ride through the city led to a nine-hole disc golf course in Munkkiniemi. Five more minutes north I found myself at the most famous course in Helsinki.
